Hummus bowls are the epitome of Mediterranean-inspired eating – easy, flexible, and brimming with deliciousness. They're perfect for customizing with your favorite ingredients, making them ideal for any serving size and accommodating a variety of tastes. With most ingredients ready to go straight from the jar, assembling a hummus bowl is a breeze.

In this recipe, I’ve chosen a base of creamy hummus and peppery arugula, topped with a delightful mix of ingredients that not only make this dish incredibly versatile and tasty but also pack it with nutritious elements like healthy fats, fiber, and the benefits of leafy greens.





Ingredients:

  • Your favorite hummus

  • Fresh arugula (or your preferred greens)

  • Olives, sliced or whole

  • Extra virgin olive oil (I use @getgraza )

  • Freshly cracked pepper

  • Feta cheese, crumbled

  • Marinated bell peppers

  • Artichoke hearts

  • Lemon zest (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base: Start by spreading a generous amount of hummus on the bottom of your bowl.

  2. Add Greens: Layer a handful of fresh arugula over the hummus.

  3. Top with Ingredients: Add sliced olives, a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil, and a sprinkle of freshly cracked pepper for a burst of flavor.

  4. Add Cheese and Veggies: Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese for a creamy texture and tangy flavor. Garnish with marinated bell peppers for a pop of color and artichoke hearts for added fiber.

  5. Finish with a Zest: Optionally, finish with a zest of lemon to add a refreshing citrusy note.
